Puffed Pastry Savory Palmiers

1 Puff Pastry Sheet

8 Slices of swiss cheese

2 T of honey mustard

6 slices of thin sliced ham

Flour for dusting


Preheat oven to 425

Dust surface with flour and roll pastry to enlarge slightly.

Spread with honey mustard, lay a layer of swiss cheese on the mustard leaving a space in the center of the dough.

Lay a layer of ham over the cheese.

Fold the outer 1/6 layer of dough in on each side.

Fold again so the sides meet in the center.

Fold the sides over and refrigerate for one hour.

After the hour slice 3/8 thick and place on a well greased pan.

Bake 20 minutes until the palmier is crips and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
