Jersey Track and Field Relays

Several area teams including Jersey, Alton, Granite City, Civic Memorial and Carrollton competed in the Jersey Co-ed Track and Field Relays on Friday. There were several outstanding performances, including a 5-4 leap by Alton's Katie Mans in the high jump, despite a windy day. Ben Flowers led Jersey with three team firsts and LaJarvia Brown also had her usual solid meet, even clearing 5-0 in the high jump relay. Alton will compete in the Edwardsville Girls Relays on Wednesday.
