Xander Eugene Eddington, age 4, of Granite City, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL.
He was born April 11, 2012, in Springfield, the son of Charles Eddington and Katie McDonald and her significant other, Cory Ellsworth.
Xander will always be remembered for his bright smile. He was a fighter, and a true hero to his mother.
In addition to his parents; he is survived by five siblings, Aubrey Evans, Clayton Eddington, Autumn Eddington, Leala Eddington, and Ryder Eddington; his grandparents, Roxane Jarman and Greg Jovi of Granite City, and Ronald and Patricia Eddington of Irving, IL.
He is preceded in death by a grandfather, William McDonald; and a great-grandfather, Robert Eddington.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
