Wilma Logan age 95 received eternal rest and peace On November 30, 2013 at 5:40 p.m. at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born April 23, 1918 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Clarence and Cornelia Logan. Wilma was employed at the former St. Joseph Hospital and she was also a foster grandparent. She was a member of Hamlett Temple C.M.E. Church and The Church of the Living God Pillar and Ground of Truth. She is survived by her son Essil Rogers of Alton; two grandsons Essil Rogers Jr. of Marion, IL; and Tydarl Berry of Alton; four grandchildren, Destiny Rogers of Spring, TX; Chanda Rogers of Carbondale, IL; Tydarl Berry Jr. of Alton and Sha Sha Berry of Alton; a special friend Cathy Greer of Alton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Douglas M. Rogers and a daughter Georgia M. Jackson and a grandson Ricardo Jackson.
Visitation Saturday December 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Cathy M. Williams Sons Funeral Home in Alton.Rev. Willie F. Jeans will officiate
