Wilma Gusewelle—Bethalto
Wilma L. Gusewelle, 93, formerly of Edwardsville, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Bethalto Care Center.
Born in Fort Russell Township Jan. 8, 1921, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary C. (Reinke) Gusewelle.
She is survived by her longtime friend and care taker Jean Clendenny of Bethalto.
She lived on the family farm, and was a homemaker. She was confirmed as a member of Eden Church on April 9, 1933 in Edwardsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Gusewelle and a sister, Elsie Gusewelle.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals. Services will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Diane C. Grohmann officiating.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville.
