Walter “Walt” James Grazier, 52, passed away at 8:45 am Friday, December 26, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born on January 1, 1962 in Omaha, NE, son of the late Jim & Pat (Varble) Grazier.
He married Theresa T. (Detienne) in Carpenter, IL on January 8, 1983. She survives.
Walt was employed at Burns Nursery for 18 years in landscaping and then became a warehouse manager for Lombardi’s Int. for 14 years. He enjoyed yard care, cars, work, wave runners and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife; two sons Shawn Grazier and Joanna Linneman of Fenton, MO and Brain & his wife Sarah Grazier of St. Louis, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas & Sandra Detienne of Edwardsville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom & Erin Detienne of Edwardsville; four siblings, Brenda Kelly, Terry Grazier, Tina Grazier and Duane & his wife Melody Grazier; 2 nieces, Mia & Ellie and three of his favorite puppies, Bowie, Rutgers and Raven.
Visitation will be from 4 until time of funeral service at 7 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Tony Jackson officiating.
Graveside services will be at 10 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Lebanon City Cemetery in Lebanon, IL.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
