Tim Lee Burney, 55, passed away 2:10 p.m. March 13, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alton on January 2, 1960, he was the son of Thomas and Bonita (Harris) Burney.
He is survived by two sons, Stan Burney of Douglasville, GA, Samuel L. Burney of Wood River; daughter, Anna (Eric) Nichols of Cottage Hills; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Austin, Wyatt and Nevelynn; brother, Ted Burney of South Roxana; and a sister, Tina Delp of Bethalto.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Thomas Burney and sister, Tracy Johnson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
