Sudie Clifton

Sudie Mae Clifton age 66 departed this life on November 2, 2014, in Hammond IN.  She was the daughter of Washington Brown and Celetter Gladney.  She was a former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church when living Alton. Sudie was employed with the Chicago Police Dept for 25 years.  Sudie was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother and friend.  She is survived by her son Dimitrick Clifton (Tonya) of IN; two grandsons, Cain and Caden Clifton; 6 sisters, Florence Williams of TX; Caroline White (Charles) of GA; Linda Generally of NC; Teresa Brown of OR; Vanessa Morant (Henry) of GA; Darlene Austin (Eddie) of IL; a brother Victor (Debora) Brown of Alton; IL; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A memorial service will be held Friday November 14 at 4 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in AltonRev.
