Stacy A. Reynolds, 44, passed away unexpectedly at 6:03 am Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 18, 1968 in Alton, IL, the son of Carl and Dorothy “Dottie” (Walker) Reynolds.
He married Michelle Himmel on June 16, 1993. She survives.
Stacy was employed at Olin Global Brass and Copper as a castor for 20 years. He was a wonderful son, husband, dad, uncle and a true friend to all who knew him. He loved his family and we will all miss him very much. Stacy loved NASCAR #24 Jeff Gordon. He was a terrific dad, who loved spending time with his son, whether riding in the creek or working on his truck. He was good at fixing anything that was broke and helping his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chad Reynolds of home; his mother, Dorothy Fillback and her husband, Fred of Batchtown, IL; his father, Carl and his wife, Donna of Irving, IL;; his grandfather, Melvin Walker; a sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Wendell Yates and their children, Kaylee Yates, Jordan Yates and Kyle Yates; a brother, and sister-in-law, Dane and Cathy Reynolds and their children, Kara Mitchell, Cody Reynolds and Cory Reynolds; a sister, Tammy Fox and her children, Thomas Fox, Taryn Fox and Torrie Fox and Dave Spa: his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Peggy Himmel and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 am until services at 1 pm Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Mark Hofferber officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Family for Chad Reynolds college fund.
