Shirley Maxine Olscwa, 81, of Wood River, IL, died at 11:40 a.m. Thurs. Aug. 6, 2015 at her home.
She was born May 31, 1934 in Pontiac, MI to the late Earl W. & Lessie (Mogan) Cunningham.
On June 4, 1970, she and John Alfred Olscwa were married in Royal Oak, MO. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Shirley had worked in real estate sales for many years. She loved to read and crochet and collect knick-knacks , teapots and cookie jars.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Michael (Cathy) Miser of Palmetto, FL and Kenneth Miser of Bradenton, FL, 3 daughters, Debbie (John) Knight of Bradenton, FL, Brenda (Brett) Taylor of Myakka, FL and Kristen (David) Williams of Wood River, 2 step-children, David (Jane) Olscwa of Navarre, FL and Kathy (Dan) Priebe of Clinton Township, MI, 11 grandchildren, John, Pamela & Roy Knight, Monica Taylor, James & Michael Miser, Kristin & Emily Williams and Christopher, Robert & Brandon Priebe, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters, Norma Beedle of Belleview, FL, Gail Morrey of Clio, MI, Helen Page of Waterford, MI and Janice Wagner of Davidsburg, MI.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
