Sherry Elizabeth Antrobus, 75, died at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born November 7, 1938 in Alton, she was the daughter of Floyd and Neva (Bowman) Huffstutler. Mrs. Antrobus was a mother and a homemaker and a charter member of the Alton First Southern Baptist Church (Heartland Baptist Church) in Alton. She loved being a Grandma and Great Grandma. Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer Floyed of Wood River, two sons, Scott Antrobus of Columbia, IL, and Chuck Antrobus of Cottage Hills, six grandchildren, Eric Scott Antrobus, Jocelyn Elizabeth Floyed, Amanda Jean Antrobus, Nicole Lynn Floyed, Elijah Lee Antrobus, and Jameson Wade Floyed, one great grandchild, Serenity Hope Floyed, and one sister, Regina Monroe (Jack) of Lakeview, TX. And by her ex-husband and friend Charles Antrobus Sr. She was preceded in death by one daughter; Neva Ellen Antrobus and three sisters, Shirley J. Ridder, Trina L. Loberg, and Barbara J. Westbrook and a brother, Floyd E. Huffstutler. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
