Sharan Lageman

Sharan Ann Lagemann, age 71, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 7:02 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. Sharan was born July 9, 1944, in Edwardsville the daughter of the late Martin & Minnie (Pape) Gieseking. She married Ronald Eugene Lagemann on June 12, 1965. Besides her husband Ronald she is survived by 1 daughter, Michelle Lagemann-Fagan of Edwardsville; 1 grandson, Kyle Fagan & his wife Anna (Reynolds) Fagan of Glen Carbon. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Michael Lagemann, 1 sister, Gloria Winte, and 1 brother, Alvin Gieseking. Sharan was an avid cook and baker and loved spending time doting on her grandson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 , at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home. A private interment will be at Valley View Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
