Ruthie Lea Harvey, 76, passed away 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehabilitatiion Center.Born in Pinckneyville on May 10, 1937, she was the daughter of Harry Walker and Mabel (Price) Little.On December 4, 1954 in Pinckneyville, she married Charles Grover Harvey, Sr. He died November 23, 1998.Surviving are a son Harry Harvey, Sr. of Bethalto, Charles Harvey, Jr. and Alvin Harvey, Sr. both of East Alton; a daughter, Sandra Meyer of East Alton; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Burnett of Maryville.Her parents; husband; granddaughter, Angel Meyer; grandson, Harry harvey, Jr.; and a sister, Eileen Angio preceded in death.Graveside services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 22 at Swanwick Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick.Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
