Ruth Postelle, 58, died at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home in Bethalto. Born March 23, 1956 in Dover, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Lois (Helton) Vail of Bethalto and her late step-father, Charles Vail, and father William Postelle, Sr. Surviving are two brothers, William Postelle, Jr. of Godfrey and Joseph Bruce II of Hamburg, IL, and a sister, Sandy Keen of Murrieta, CA, as well as five nephews and one niece, Nicholas Duncan, Jordan and David Bruce, Joshua Postelle, Justin Kosobud and Kristal Rushing. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Dennis Postelle. There will be no services. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
