Rosalie Zimmermann

Rosalie Joyce Zimmermann age 79 received eternal rest on Friday March 6, 2015 at her home.She was the daughter of George and Dorothy (Hiller) Robertson.  She was a retired teacher of the East Alton School District.Rosalie  was united in Holy Matrimony to James Zimmermann on  August 2, 1952 at Fort Benning, Georgia. He survives. In addition to her husband of 62 years, She is survived by three sons, Mike (Dee) Zimmermann of Jefferson City MO;  Dr. Pat (Connie) Zimmermann of Edwardsville, David (Jane) Zimmermann of Godfrey; two daughters, Kris (Mike) Magee of Bethalto;and Diana (Joe) Vowell of Hilliard, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Beth, Brian, Chris, Andrea, Amy, Timothy, Angela, Steve, Sarah and Haley 3 great-grandchildren, Amora, Adrienne, and Bodhi, 3  sisters Eileen Beneze, Jan Marthaler and Sherry O’Haugherty.  She was a teacher East Alton School District. In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by a sister Dianna Buster.Visitation Sunday March 8, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at Cathy M. Williams & Sons Funeral Home in Alton.  Burial on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Valhalia Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association And Alzheimers Research
