Ronald J. Tucker, 58 passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born January 1, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Jesse J. and Audrey M. (Cavasher) Tucker.
He was formerly married to Lisa (Walsh) Tucker. They got married on October 18, 1980 in Edwardsville. She survives.
Ron served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his dog, Tex and most of all being with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to Lisa, he is survived by his three children and their spouses, Chris Tucker of Moro, Ashley and Jarvis Putnam of Alton and Jenna and Rick Poindexter of Edwardsville; three grandchildren, Tori Tucker, Lana Tucker and Samantha Tucker; his siblings and their spouses, Wayne Tucker of Jerseyville, Denise and Jim Campbell of Jerseyville, Dennis Tucker of Jerseyville, Sharon and Herbert Zellers of Allentown, PA and David Tucker of Illinois and his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until services at 4 pm Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Elder Gary Chappel officiating.
Memorials may be made to the 5 A’s Animal Shelter or American Heart Association.
