Robert “Bob” W. Dingeldein, 71, passed away at 10:25 pm, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Baptist Health Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on March 31, 1943, the son of the late Jessie and Elsie (Malone) Dingeldein.
He married Shelia Pea on May 25, 1991 in Godfrey, IL. They were together for 40 years and were married for 23 years. She survives.
Bob retired from Olin Corporation as a Machinist in 2004. He enjoyed traveling since his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and amateur chef. Bob belonged to the Alton Wood River Sportsman’s Club, the Owls club, and the Moose Lodge. He also enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Dingeldein.
He is survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 4 pm until time of service at 6 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL with Chapain Randy Butler officiating.
Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Bob was an organ donor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
