Ramona L. Schultz, 59, passed away 10:07 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alton on February 3, 1956, she was the daughter of Edgar and Juanita (Haley) Elspherman, who preceded in death.
She had worked as a sales clerk at the Dollar General Store in East Alton as well as a clerk at the FISCA service station in West Alton.
She was a animal lover, especially her lab,'Dakota'; enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, reading and puzzles.
She married Leroy Schultz on May 26, 1982 in Edwardsville. He survives.
Surviving also are a brother, Louis (Kay) Elspherman of East Alton; niece, Cherie (Marvin) Lee; nephews, Terry Elspherman, Caleb Elspherman; and dear friends and their family, Eileen and Greg Strader of Cottage Hills, their daughter, Ally Meyer and her son, Sawyer.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the service.
