Pauline May Henderson, 79, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Born July 23, 1935 in Alton, she was the daughter of Calvin and Emma May (Bennington) Garrett. She married Max A. Henderson on May 20, 1956 in Godfrey. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1993. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Charles Lewis of Cumming, GA, her grandchildren, Lauren Lewis and Chris Howard of Atlanta, GA, Andrew Lewis and Michelle Albrecht of Valdosta, GA, and Dylan Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Sarah Coleman (Joe), Mary Warren (Fred), and Louise Higginbotham (Ernie), and three brothers including her twin brother, Paul Garrett (Gail), Frank Garrett (Jackie), and Calvin Garrett (Jean). Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Don E. Long Jr. officiated.
