Pauline Marie Kirchner, 84, of East Alton, IL, passed away at 7:28 p.m. Wed. July 30, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Dec. 28, 1929 in Lebanon, IL to the late James & Ida (Oates) McManemy.
She and Edward L. Stefl were married in Oceola, AR in Feb. 1949. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1971. She then married John O. Kirchner on Sept. 1, 1972 in East Alton. He preceded her in death on Jun. 19, 2003.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen & Diana Stefl of East Alton a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca & Mark Wintjen of Hamburg, IL, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, James McManemy of Glenwood, IL and John “Jack” McManemy of St. Louis, MO.
Besides her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, David Stefl, 2 brothers, Edward “Bud McManemy and Joseph McManemy and 3 sisters, Frances Barthles, Jane Redecker and Delores Ries.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sun. Aug. 3, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be at 1:00 p.m. Mon. Aug. 4, 2014 with Fr. James Flach officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL
