Paul Lewis

Paul E. Lewis, age 33, of Cottage Hills, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.Paul was born December 27, 1981, in Alton, the beloved son of Jerry Lewis of East Alton, and Leonora Coyle of Bremerton, WA. He was a graduate of Alton High School. Paul was a wonderful artist, cook, and chess player. He loved to go fishing, play video games, and spend time with his family. Paul was wonderful with kids. He loved his children more than anything. He will be missed by his family and many friends.In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by his partner, Julia Acord of Cottage Hills; their two children, Allaura Lewis and Paul Lewis; his sister Leah and her spouse, Justin Lybarger, of Bethalto; his brother, Christopher Lewis of East Alton; and many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins.He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Pat Lewis-Inlow; and his uncle, Lee Lewis.Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.Contributions may be made to the family to help his children.Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
