Paul D. Klopmeier, age 52 of Worden, Illinois, died at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Swansea Rehabilitation & Health Care in Swansea, Illinois. He was born March 16, 1963, in Highland, Illinois, the son of Darl F. Klopmeier of Worden, and the late Mary (Davis) Klopmeier. Paul has worked for over thirty years as an over the road truck driver, most recently for Crete Carriers. Paul is survived by his father; one brother, Mike Klopmeier & wife Judy of Edwardsville; three sister, Susan L. Johnson & husband Joe of St. Louis, Missouri, Helen Klopmeier & husband William Martin of High Ridge, Missouri, and Lorie Ann Sooter of Springfield, Missouri. Paul was a member of the Skyriders. He was cremated according to his wishes and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. His final resting place will be at St. James Cemetery in Fort Russell Township, Illinois.
