Patricia K. Beck

Patricia K. Beck, 63, passed away at 3:10 am, on Saturday December 29, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Alton, IL on November 20, 1949 the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel May (Wilson) Wilson.

She married Carl Owen Beck Sr. on August 26, 1978 in Alton and he preceded her on January 21, 2004. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.

She was a school bus driver for Illinois Central Bus Unit, for over 15 years retiring in 2010.

She is survived by a son Bradley Beck of Alton, a daughter and spouse Tammy (Terry) Downing of Godfrey, step son and spouse Keith (Samantha) Beck of Salem, MO, a brother and spouse Charlie (Teresa) Wilson of Alton, sister Loretta Woolsey of Staunton, IL, grandchildren Brooklyn Downing, Jarrod Downing, Brian (Rachel) Beck, Casey Beck, Beth Beck, Amanda Beck, Christopher (Stacey) Beck, Carl Beck III, Nancy Beck, Chrystal Beck, several great grandchildren and numerous special nieces, nephews and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl, one brother Fred Wilson, one step son Claude Beck, two sisters Mary Mawhee and Helen Spa.

Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorial Visitation honoring her life will be January 5, 2013 from 12 noon until the time of service at 2 pm at the New Life Fellowship Church, 701 Henry St., Alton, IL with Rev. Carl Cook officiating.
