Patricia “Sue” Bloodworth, 70, passed away Monday February 18, 2013 at Alton Rehab and Nursing of Alton.
She was born in Alton, IL on July 6, 1942 the daughter of Lexie and Dorothy (Hessenauer) Hardesty.
She worked for Anna Henry Senior Care as a CNA for many years taking care of everyone she could. She enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Palmer of Bethalto, and Katherine Hicks of East Alton; three grandchildren, Leah Hicks, Chris Coulter, and Sarah Hampton; five great grandchildren; a brother, Mike Hardesty of Godfrey; one sister Marsha Ruyle of Staunton; and one aunt, Betty Hessenauer..
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 8:45 am until the time of Mass at 10 am on February 22, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with celebrant Fr. Jim Walther OMV.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to Sisters of the St. Francis of the Martyr St. George or the American Lung Association.
