Patricia Ann Lammy, 83, passed away at 7:36 pm, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her residence.
She was born at Jersey Community Hospital on July 21, 1932, the daughter of James “Dewey” Poore and Rita M. (Murphy) Poore.
She married Freddie R. Lammy on July 5, 1952 in Pocahontas, AR.
She was a member of Community Christian Church in Alton. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching out in her yard. She was also a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lammy of Godfrey and a sister, Genevieve (Jerry) Tinkey of Godfrey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, C.J. “Stanley” Lammy and three brothers, James Ivan Poore, John Ronald Poore and Robert Weston Poore.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 9 am until the time of the memorial service at 11 am at Community Christian Church in Alton with Pastor David Burger officiating.
Inurnment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Christian Church.
