Patricia A. Mahan, 64, passed away 6:08 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 at her residence.
Born February 8, 1950 in East St. Louis, she was the daughter of Richard E. Sullivan and the late Hazel L. (Berning) Sullivan.
She had been a Registered Nurse at Alton Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center in Alton for 28 years. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Brighton.
She married Michael Mahan, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her father; son, Brian Mahan; grandson, Nick Mahan; brothers, Richard E., Jr. (Joyce) Sullivan, Bill (Lulu) Sullivan, Wesley (Wilma) Sullivan; sister, Vera (Charles) Brown; sister-in-law, Carla Sullivan; and four loving nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were her mother; husband; grandparents, Henry and Virginia Berning; and brother, Dennis Sullivan.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
