Oscar E. Moore, 83, passed away at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Robings Manor in Brighton.
Born Apr. 18, 1932 in Little Rock Arkansas, he was a son of Altham B. and Mary (Thurgood) Moore.
Oscar worked as a crane operator for Granite City Steel for 35 years.
Survivors include 3 sons, Gary Moore and Robert Moore, both of South Roxana and Gale Moore of Alton; 2 daughters, Pam Krontz of South Roxana and Linda Elberg of Alton; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Faye (Parks) Moore; a daughter, Patricia Moore; a son, Terry Moore; and 3 brothers, Clarence, Billy and Vernon Moore.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18 at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
