Nathan A. Atwood, 30, passed away at 7:18 pm, August 7, 2015 at Home.
He was born in Alton on April 15, 1985 the son of Larry Atwood and Christy Steele.
He was a self-employed welder and fabricator.
He is survived by his son Caleb and his mother Rikki Elledge of Jerseyville; mother Christy and step-father Marty Steele of brighton, father Larry Atwood of Jerseyville; maternal grandmother Dorothy Ward of Fosterburg, maternal grandfather Bruce Ward of Godfrey, paternal grandmother Violet Attwood of Murrayville; sister Amanda Attwood of Kincaid, two brothers Dean (JosieAnn) Atwood of Kentucky, Michael Atwood of Brighton.
He was preceded in death by a brother Nicholas Atwood and paternal grandfather Duwayne “Bear” Atwood..
In celebration of her/his life, visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL.
Funeral service will be at 1 pm Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. Ronnie Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at Fosterburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Caleb Elledge Trust.
