Naomi M. Myers, 87, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Bethalto Care Center.
Born Jan. 12, 1928 in Gideon, Mo., she was a daughter of Charles and Emma (Harmon) Romine.
She married Grover W. Myers Sept. 7, 1946 in Olathe, Kan. He passed away June 14, 1995.
Naomi worked as head cafeteria manager for Bethalto School District for many years. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Cottage Hills. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved watching Cardinals baseball.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (George) Hosier of Cottage Hills; two sons, Larry (Judy) Myers of Cottage Hills and Thomas (Pam) Myers of Amarillo, Tex.; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 at Paynic Home for Funerals, and will continue Monday, Aug. 3 at Bible Baptist Church in Cottage Hills from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Steve Bush will officiate.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Garde3ns in Bethalto.
