Michael J. Zlotopolski

Michael J. Zlotopolski, 62, passed away at 6:30pm, on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at his residence.

He was born in St. Louis, MO on June 26, 1950 the son of John and Clara (Collins) Zlotopolski.

Michael was a union sheet metal worker for over 30 years.

He is survived by his mother: Clara Zlotopolski, of St. Louis, MO, and two sons: Patrick Zlotopolski, of Phoenix, AZ, and Geoffrey Zlotopolski of Florissant, MO; two grandchildren: Kristen and Steven Zlotopolski, a sister: Joan Vomund and her husband Paul, of Fredrictown, MO; and one brother and his wife: John B. and Teresa Zlotopolski, of El Paso, TX.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother: A. T. “Ted” Zlotopolski.

In celebration of his life visitation will be from 4 pm until 8 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.

Graveside service will be at 10 am, on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Fr Jim Walther OMV will officiate.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
