Mary Lee Caires

Mary Lee Caires, 86, passed away at 11:52 am Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born on December 6, 1926 in Wood River, IL to the late Clarence A and Nina Fay (Napper) Hubbard.

Mary Lee married Peter T. Caires on April 22, 1949 on Alton, IL. He survives

She was employed at Owens IL Glass Company for over 15 years as a secretary. She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband Peter, a son-in-law: Jacob Lesgold of Evanston, IL. a brother and his spouse: James L. and Glenda Hubbard of St. George, UT., two nephews: Dale and Gary Hubbard,

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Janet Fay Lesgold, three sisters: Ada and Joanne Hubbard, and Nina Grace Roddick.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, February 11, 2013 with Rev. Jerry McCaskey officiating.

Burial will follow at the Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
