Mary Diane Richards, 54, passed away at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1960 in Alton, she was a daughter of William “Bud” and Laura (Grace) Richards, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a manager at Hit N Run in Bethalto for 10 years, and was a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge #1049.
Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Morton of Wood River; two sons, Bradly (Missy) Hammond of Alton and Benjamin (Lindsey) Hammond of Wood River; her grandchildren, Carly, Tyler, Madelyn and Ryan Morton, Alexa and Faith Hammond, and Joella and Parker Hammond; 3 sisters, Sharon (John) Nolte of Bethalto, Barbara (Jack) Hammond of Meadowbrook, and Marsha (Mike) Hosto of Belleville; a brother, Gary Richards of Meadowbrook; and her fiancé of 27 years, Dennis Paul Vonderheidt.
No services are scheduled.
