Mark A. Hauser, 56, passed away at 1:15am on Friday, November 6, 2015, at his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 16, 1959, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of the late Bill and Norma (Pea) Hauser. Survivors include his children: Brandon Hauser and his companion: Angie Morgan, Kelsey Hauser and her companion: Devin Spurlock, Chelsea Hauser and her companion: Marcus Knight, his grandchildren: Gage Racine and Ashtin Hauser, one brother and sister in law: Bill and Marla Hauser, a sister in law: Deanna Hauser, nephews and nieces: Tim Hauser and his wife: Cheryl, their children: Makayla and Taylor, Christine Reamer and her husband: Geoff, their children: Caitlin, Justin, Marisa, along with many other relatives including his cousins and many lifelong friends. A very special thank you to his lifelong friends: Jim Simunich, Mike Berne, Sr. and his son: Mike Berne, Jr., and Chris Mitchell for always being there to take care of Mark in his time of need.
Mark was a tree trimmer and worked at Peerless Stove Company in Belleville. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved camping and being outdoors. His greatest pride was his children and his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Michael Hauser and one brother: Ronald Hauser.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of his life, will be held from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the VFW Post 8677 in Fairview Heights.
Memorials are suggested to the family to offset expenses.
The family would like extend their deepest appreciation to BJC Hospice of Alton for the wonderful care that they provided for Mark.
