Lora Faye Wright, 63, of Wood River, IL, died at 4:56 p.m. Sat. Nov. 16, 2013 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born August 9, 1950 in Wood River to George and Leta (Tennis) Harshbarger.
She worked for many years at Kane Mechanical and then at GRP where she retired. She and Gary Lynn Wright were married in 1987 in Rosewood Heights, IL. He preceded her in death September 15, 2013.
She and her husband were active motorcyclists and members of the Dream Weavers Motorcycle Club.
She is survived by: 2 sons, Jeff & Jenifer Benner and Billy & Tanya Wright all of Wood River, a daughter, Shelly & Bryan Allman of Piggott, AR, mother, Leta Harshbarger of East Alton, 6 grandchildren, Connor, Duncan & Aiden Benner and Alicia, Kelsey & Logan Allman, sister, Mickie and Jay Garrison of Great Falls, Montana and dear family friends who were like her own children, Doug Rensing of Wood River, Andy Blair of Wood River and Brian Kopp of Godfrey.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Paynic Home for Funerals. Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
