Larry W. Schoen

Larry W. Schoen, 61, passed away at 2:41am on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his residence. He was born on August 13, 1951, in Litchfield, Illinois the son of the late Elmer and Doris (Chaplain) Schoen. He married the former Debbie Julen on June 18, 1976, in Gillespie, Illinois and she survives. Other survivors include three sons and daughters in law: Travis Schoen of Gillespie, Illinois, Nick and Adrienne Schoen of Gillespie, Illinois, Glen and Brandi Schoen of Benld, Illinois, five grandchildren: Tatum, Reese, Emily, Alex, Alivia, a sister and brother in law: Donna and Frank Elliott of Maryland, and a brother and sister in law: Harold and Susan Schoen of Iowa.

He was formerly employed at International Paper Company and CPC Rexcel as an operator. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Riverbend.
