OCCUPATION: 2 Years at Carp’s Clothing Store, 10 years at Colonial Bakery as Route Supervisor and Sales, 23 years at Jersey County Rural Water as Manager, He enjoyed family and friends often hosting a fish fry or celebration. Avid fast and slow pitch softball player, playing in 3 counties including Jersey, Madison and St. Clair for nearly 25 years. Avid hunter of coon, quail, squirrel and mushrooms. Loved watching Cardinal baseball, gardening & riding horses. For the past several years has enjoyed his faithful canine companion Patchy and was fortunate to have several faithful friends to provide transportation to social outings and medical appointments.
MEMBERSHIP: Over the years, served or was a member of various organizations including: Elsah Township Trustee, Jersey County Board, Jerseyville Rotary, Elks and Moose organizations, St. Michael’s Parish Council. Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville. Was currently serving as Jersey Township Supervisor. Received a Paul Harris Award, Illinois Rural Water Assoc. Operator of the Year and was recently presented with a plaque of appreciation for his vital role in the formation of the Jersey County Rural Water Company.
