Larry Alan Kuethe, 62, passed away at 2:24 am, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born in Staunton, IL on October 22, 1952, the son of the late Kenneth and Shirley (Grange) Kuethe.
He married Montica Slanker on February 28, 1981 in Reno, NV. She survives.
Larry was a self-employed plumber and was a member of Staunton Lutheran Church. He loved fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially taking his grandson fishing. Larry was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Montica; three children, Megan (Ben) Julian of Bethalto, Laryn Kuethe of Brighton, and Tonya (Vinny) Massalone of South Roxana; a step-mother, Ruth Kuethe of Alton; four brothers, Terry, Kevin (Peggy), Mike (Lisa), and Brian Kuethe; and two grandchildren, Hailey and Andrew Julian.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral service will be at 10 am on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend Kelly Mitteis officiating.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
