Kenneth Ray Stagner, Sr., 80, passed away 4:25 a.m. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Alton Nursing and Rehab.
Born in West Frankfort on December 19, 1933, he was the son of Wilson and Ella Loraine (Willis) Stagner.
Kenny had worked on the Street Department for the Village of South Roxana before he retired.
He is survived by four sons, Dennis (Deborah) Stagner of Roxana, Kenneth, Jr. (Denise) Stagner of Moro, Russell Stagner of Missouri, Roger George of West Frankfort; a daughter, Cathy (Patrick) Nickels of South Roxana; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a sister, Sharon Turner of Bethalto.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
