Kenneth L. “Ken” Busby

Kenneth L. “Ken” Busby went to heaven to become and Angel on December 28, 2012 with his family and friend by his side.

He was born on November 16, 1970, the son of Sharon Busby of East Alton and the late James Busby. Kenny was an avid wrestling fan and could tell you anything about any wrestler. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Lynard Skynard band, his favorite song being “Freebird.”

He is survived by his mother; two nieces, Stephanie and Heather Poole; two great nephews, Benson Main and Rylan McCollum; a special aunt and uncle, Patty & Dan Hallstead; and a cousin Cody along with other uncles, cousins and neighbors that Kenny thought a lot of.He will also be missed by his cat, “Christine”.He would do anything for anyone and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Poole and grandparents, Jack & Bernice Ull.

Visitation will be from 11 am until time of funeral at 1 pm Wednesday January 2, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Fred Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to the 5A’s or American Diabetes Association.
