Keith M. Timmermeier, age 57, of Belleville, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 18, 1956, in Alton, IL, the son of Leslie F. and Dorothy (Schenk) Timmermeier.
Keith was an Army Veteran, having served from 1973 until 1977.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Timmermeier; a daughter and a son-in-law, Jessica and Clark Bates of Coos Bay, OR; a brother, Kirk Timmermeier of West Alton; five grandchildren, Tony, and Tayla, Bethany, Alex and Levi Bates; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie “Bud” Timmermeier; a daughter, Tara Timmermeier; and two brothers, Steven and Michael.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 11:00 am, at Immaculate Conception Church in West Alton.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
