Joyce Lea "Joyous" White, 70, passed away 11:43 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Crystal Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born in Alton on May 29, 1944, she was the daughter of Albert A. and Alice E. (Stutsman) Saunders.
She is survived by a son, Rusty Brown, Jr. of Godfrey; four daughters, Alice Noe of Florissant, Sheila Manus and Dawn Zyph both of Percy, Renee Felkins of Austin, TX; 30 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; brother, Richard; sisters, Audrey, Clara and her twin, JoAnn.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, David and George; and three sisters, Margie, Leota Mae and Dorothy.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16 at Anchor of Hope Church, 503 Milton Rd, Alton. Pastor Seeram Garney will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Crystal Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
