JoLeanna Louise Lane Franklin, 2 months, infant daughter of Savannah Louise Lane and Adam Hayes Franklin of Alton, IL went to be with the Angels at 1:00 a.m. Sun. Feb. 15, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital ER.
She was born 6 weeks premature at 2 lbs 6 oz on Dec. 18, 2014 in St. Louis, MO and spent 53 days fighting in the NIC-U at Children’s Hospital before getting to go home to her parents and grandparents.
In addition to her mom and dad, she is survived by: grandparents, Larry & Theresa Franklin of Alton, great-grandparents, Barb & Tom Guthrie of Godfrey, aunts & uncles, Emma Franklin & Evan Frankin of Alton, Debbie McClintock of South Roxana and Ashley Asen of Columbia, MO as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends, as well as her special care givers at Children’s Hospital: Jess, Jordan, Tamika, Dr. Anna, Dr. Sam and Dr. Joany.
She was preceded in death by her grandma, Joanna Lee Lane.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral at Noon on Friday, February 20 at Paynic Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
