John H. McKinney, Jr., at the age of 70 years, a resident of Alton, IL, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:25 p.m. at Willow Creek Rehabilitation Center with his family by his side.
John leaves to cherish fond memories: his loving wife, Georgia Boyd McKinney; a son, John (Laura) McKinney III of Newport News, Virginia; 7 siblings, 1 brother, Theron (Bernice) McKinney of Florissant, MO; 6 sisters, Mary Green, Shelia McKinney, Valerie (Stan) McGee, Joyce (John) Riley all of East Saint Louis, IL, Charlotte Finley of Belleville, IL and Naomi (Frederick) Robinson of Columbia, MO.
Visitation will convene Sunday August 24 from 4 until time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ, 1701 Gaty E. St. Louis, IL. Supt. John A. Riley will officiate.
