John Glenn Roberts, 46, died at 12:28 a.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born October 23, 1967 in Alton the son of the late Robert and Margie (Berner) Roberts. He is survived by his fiancé; Yvonne Lynn of Cottage Hills, four children; Adam Roberts, Sarah Howard of Bloomington, Vickie Roberts of Worden, and Heather Bailey (Patrick) of Godfrey, three step-children; Michial Greer of Carlinville, Tiffany Greer of Alton and Amanda Greer of East Alton, nine grandchildren, two sisters; Debbie Flanagan (Kent) of Godfrey, Pam Conners of Jerseyville, two brothers; Mike Roberts (Becky) of Alton and Jim Roberts (Anna) of Alton. A celebration of life service will be held at Gordon Moore Park on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
