Jimmy Martin Mitchell

Jimmy Martin Mitchell, 56, of East Alton, IL, died Wed. Jan. 9, 2013 at his home under the care of Heartland Hospice.

He was born Aug. 23, 1956 in Waxahachie, TX to the late Ernest & Elberta (Southard) Mitchell.

He married Cindi Ray Reagan in TX in 1987. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1996.

Jimmy was a retired Texas Firefighter.

He is survived by: a son and daughter-in-law, Rory & Grace Mitchell, 6 grandchildren, Kaylee, Alexis, A.J., Jacob, Joshua & Jonathan and a sister, Flora Tate of Grapevine, TX.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Martin Mitchell in March, 2008.
