Janice Gearing

Janice Elaine Gearing, 64, passed away at 9:30 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 11, 1950 in Christopher, IL, the daughter of Phillip and Juanita (Heisner) Harp. She was employed at The Argosy Casino in Alton. She enjoyed crafting, watching western movies and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons; Mathew Gearing of Bethalto IL and Jason Gearing of Granite City, IL, two grandchildren; Brianna and Halle, and her long time companion; Maurice Moore of Alton, IL, a brother Leonard Harp of Arkansas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Danny Harp. A memorial visitation will be from 12 noon till 1 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden Cemetery in Bethalto. Memorials may be directed to the New Hope Baptist Church in Hartford, IL.

Visitation

A memorial visitation will be from 12 noon till 1 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto.

Interment

Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden Cemetery in Bethalto.
