Janet Sue (Tite) Hahnenkamp, 67, died 3:20 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Alhambra Care Center, with her family by her side.Janet was born November 14, 1946 in Ozark, IL, she was the daughter of Arthur and Teresa (Bradley) Tite.She was a beautician and a housewife, she enjoyed decorating, cooking, shopping, but mostly spending time with her family and friends.She married Richard Hahnenkamp on August 22, 1975 in Bethalto. He survives.In addition, she has three daughters and their spouses, Leah and Steve Vandergriff of Evansville, IN, Angie and Rich Kirkpatrick, Risha and Ryan Hargrave all of Bethalto; a son and his girlfriend, Richard Hahnenkamp and Kara Hund of Glen Carbon; eight grandchildren, Steven, Dylan, Nolan and Madison Vandergriff, Kayla and Kyle Kirkpatrick, Hunter and Holden Hargrave; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Mary K. Tite, Larry Tite, Art and Patty Tite, Richard and Sherry Tite; a sister and brother-in-law, Denny and Rose Simmons.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Michael Tite; and an infant son, Herman Hahnenkamp.Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River, where Pastor Martin Schultz will conduct services at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014.Burial will be at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Alzheimers Disease Foundation.
