Henry 'Hank' Bloodworth, 80, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Alton.
Born in Alton on September 26, 1934, he was the son of Harvey Bloodworth and Geneva (Hastings) Bloodworth Green.
He had been a meat cutter and truck driver before retiring. He had been an active member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #25 in Alton.
He married the former Joann (Altefogt) Voumard on September 14, 2004 in Jerseyville. She survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Robert (Christina) Bloodworth of Koln, Germany, Jason Bloodworth of Centralia; step-son, Bill Voumard of Arizona; three daughters, Vicky McDonough of Roxana, Linda Steinberg of Wofford Heights, CA, Michelle Bloodworth of Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Michelle Daniels of Glen Carbon; 10 grandchildren, Simon McDonough, Dena Kidder, Lindsey Dankenbrink, Christopher Peeks, Alexander King, Julia King, Nathan King, Owen King, Leon Bloodworth, Colin Bloodworth; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Lloyd Bloodworth of Brighton, Donald Green of Jerseyville; a sister, Margaret Ingram of Alton, former wives and mothers of the children, Barbara Lebro of Kernville, CA and Ingrid Bloodworth of Albuquerque, NM; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Altefogt of Glen Carbon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Green.
Franklin Lodge #25 will conduct a Masonic Service at 9 a.m Saturday, March 21 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Michael Southcombe officiating. A visitation will continue following the service until noon.
