George Wayne Foraker, 57, passed away unexpectedly 2:56 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his residence.Born in St. Charles, MO on February 21, 1957, he is the son of Robert and Gwendolyn (Stanton) Foraker of Flippin, Ark.A member of the National Rifle Association, he was a driver for CSI Concrete Products and Member of Teamsters Local 525.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Rachael Foraker of Granite City; two brothers, Ray Foraker (Tonya Brockman) of Wood River, Robert (Karensa) Foraker of Edwardsville; three sisters, Carol Ann Foraker of Bethalto, Trisha S. Foraker (Tom Yates) of South Roxana, Deanna (Jeremy) Wilder of Wood River; an "adopted" sister, Tammy "Undercover Sis" Bryant of Ibor, VA; longtime companion, Ruth Caldwell, her daughter, Jennifer Roberts and her children, Zachary, Dominc and Jase Coons all of Edwardsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. Reverand Pam Laing will officiate.In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the services.Memorials may be made to the Autism Foundation.
