George Robert "Rob" Pritzker, Attorney at Law, 47, took the hand of Jesus on September 22, 2015 and died peacefully in his sleep.
He was honest, full of life and a friend to all in need.Rob loved being a lawyer and helping people. He did much "pro-bono" work and fought for the underdog.
He loved his cats, "Baby Boo" and "Mo", and his mother's dog, "Buddy".
He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, as was his father before him.
He was born June 16, 1968 in Alton, the son of Donna (Lindquist) Pritzker of Alton and the late George Robert Pritzker, Sr.
Rob loved his only son, Alex Pritzker of Bethalto; step-daughter, Briana Folmnsbee of Wood River; fiance' and love of his life, Beth Chappell; terribly missed by his two maternal aunts, Sherri (Larry) Rose of Edwardsville, Barbara Burgess of Carlinville; cousins, Dan Duckels and Dean Duckels, their families; friend of many years, Mike Lewis, whom was like a brother; and many friends and colleagues.
His life was short, but he touched many lives. Comfort may be found in the Bible verse "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River followed by a 'Remembrance Service"for family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated.
